There isnt a warning labelYou know how most products have a warning label as far as what could happen as a side affect? The oral care gel doesnt. My question is, is drooling normal? I gave my cats a drop of your oral gel care for fresh breath about 2o minutes ago and one of my cats is salivating excessively.

Thank you for your inquiry.  There are not any specific side effects to caution about based on the ingredients of the use of this gel for cats.  It is possible for any animal however, to have a sensitivity/allergy  to any product they ingest. Symptoms of a sensitivity are uncommon and may vary from pet to pet.  If you believe your pet may have a sensitive reaction to a product, we would recommend discontinuance of use and provide plenty of water to drink for the pet.  If the symptoms do not subside, you may consider a vet consultation. Bought it 3 days ago.Hi. My cat has a problem with tartar and plaque build ups that’s also causing gum inflammation. She’s now 15 and had 3 teeth removed and the rest cleaned (FORL) at the vet 1.5 years ago. She won’t let me brush her teeth and to clean them at the vet again will require sedation which is too risky for her. My question is, is it safe to give the gel to her when her gums are a bit red and does it hurt? Also how long does it take to see any improvement? Thank you!

Hello Josefin and thank you for your inquiry.

The Oral Care Gel is intended to be used to eliminate soft plaque from teeth and remove the bad bacteria that leads to gum inflammation, plaque, and if untreated, eventual tooth decay. If the pet's gums are inflamed, there may be possible sensitivity to any product applied and, therefore could be painful.  Pet parents generally see visible results after using our product daily after 30 continuous days of treatment.  Your pet may require vet treatment to care for the existing inflammation before additional treatments are applied. We hope this information helps!

Simply apply two drops of Clean Teeth Gel in your cat’s mouth. After application, you’ll notice your pet licking their lips repeatedly; this is normal and helps the gel coat the teeth and gums. For maximum effect, withhold food and water for 30 minutes before and after application. While toothbrushing is not required, it can speed up the removal of plaque and tartar when used with the gel. Apply once daily in the evening.
